How dry was your January?
Mine was pretty dry – but not in the way you may be thinking. A group of us decided to abstain from alcohol for the better part of the month and it was such a huge success, we are staying the course for a bit longer.
Why you may ask?
The benefits were plentiful. Personally, I experienced a lot more energy which equated to more workouts, less inflammation, more patience (less moodiness) in addition to less cravings for the bad food that sometimes coincides with drinking a glass or two of wine, and better food choices overall. So what’s done is done – why keep talking about it as we roll into February. Well, what I am noticing now is an increased awareness that is lingering from what January brought us. And for this, we are now calling the residual effects “Fabulous February!”
